Guy is joined by Justin Seidenfeld, wine maker at Rodney Strong Vineyards of Sonoma California. They talk about how Justin first got exposed to fine wine all the way to his position at Rodney Strong Vineyards. Justin also give a little history of Rodney Strong the man.
You guys formed some of the best property in all of the Sonoma valley . Yes so we you know I liked it today you know having traveled the world and and worked in Napa Valley . I like to say Sonoma County is the best place in the world two brokerage and make wine because of the diversity that we have. But in a pretty small area now Sonoma County is you know a large area of land. But in the grand scheme and it's actually not and to consider that we have. Such diverse micro climate ranging in the southern part of Sonoma County with a paddle in the gap. And then coming up to Russian river valley we have dry creek valley which I had a sense that he. But in a wayward enhances. Spike and in complexity in the wind we have that night valley on the far western side of Sonoma county and senate are eastern side of Sonoma County . Which has a higher base foundation and has the hottest area to grow grapes which is great for cabinet and so we embarked. And then in the northern part we have Alex and value which is very skinny and very long. Valley and Sonoma County . And it grows amazing cabernet. And Bordeaux rattles all of hillside. Mainly on the eastern side facing west sort of great aspects. Which he did great weather and great frightening characteristics. For the grapes and so we do you have fourteen great injured sites.
